PCPC Weddings | Reception at PCPC
Guidelines for Receptions at PCPC
All requests for receptions at PCPC must first be approved through the PCPC Wedding Coordinator.
Our
church caterer, Sandy Korem, owner of "Festive Kitchen", is available
to help you with your reception and/or special event needs. If you are
interested in her services, please contact her via phone or
email: 972-437-1523, or festivek@aol.com.
If you are not using our PCPC caterer, please be aware of the following guidelines:
-
We
must keep the kitchen locked and not available for your use; the
kitchen is under contract to our PCPC caterer and she is the only
insured user for that facility.
-
The steam buffet line equipment is not available for your use.
-
The
Fellowship Hall will be open for decoration purposes 4 hours prior to
the wedding. Receptions may last up to 4 hours (which includes a 30-45
min. clean-up by the church caterer, outside caterer or "friends and
family" caterers).
-
Night receptions must end by 11:00 p.m. (including clean-up)
-
Music should be restricted to moderate amplification.
-
Decorations
(candles) in Fellowship Hall and hallway(s) must be Fire Code
Standard. Please see policy for candles in floral section under
"Wedding Information".
-
All outside caterers must provide proof of insurance and a health inspection certificate.
What is available for your use?
Refrigerator space (as available), ice maker, plastic punch bowl (no
cups), coffee/iced tea maker (must provide own coffee/tea and all paper
goods).
Tables (60” round and 72” long) and warming ovens will be available for your use.
A sexton will be available to set-up tables and chairs.
The Basic Fees
- A security deposit of $500.00 will be required one month prior
to the event. After an overall assessment has been made of facility
(reception area, equipment, etc.), all or partial of this amount will
be refunded to the party, one week following the event.
- Please see PCPC Wedding Coordinator for more information regarding reception options, location venues and required fees.
For your Safety and Conduct
- We do not allow any substance (i.e.
rice, birdseed, rose petals*, confetti, potpourri, sparklers, bubbles)
to be thrown anywhere indoors or outdoors on PCPC property. No foreign
substance (i.e. paint, nails or pictures) may be added or put on our
walls or ceilings.
- Alcoholic beverages, drugs and/or tobacco
of any kind, are forbidden anywhere on the premises. This includes
parking lots and dressing rooms of Park Cities Presbyterian Church.
- Every
possible effort will be made to protect personal items; however, the
church cannot be responsible for such items, if lost, stolen or
damaged. Money, jewelry, gifts, or other valuables should not be left
unattended.
